On Wednesday, May 30 we will visit Restaurant on the Plaza at xxx New Dorp Plaza for good food and good company. Dining Through New Dorp – 42 March 21, 2007 Friends, neighbors, after a long interlude during the holiday season, its time for us to eat again and support one of the dining establishments in our community. On Wednesday, March 21 we will journey to Bistro at 2561 Hylan Blvd and sample their culinary treasures. What awaits us? "Dining Through New Dorp - 27" We resumed our Dining Program 2001 on February 22 at Villa Portofino. Check out the good time had by all at our meeting. Our dining program supports the restaurants in our neighborhood and provides a social moment for the Association, its family and friends. These events provide us with an excellent event that supports the restaurants in our neighborhood and provides a social moment for the Association, its family and friends. Since the start of this program in May 1994 we have purchased 820 meals and spent over $17,800.00. May 23,  2000 “Dining Through New Dorp – 25”  We dined on May 23 at Evvia on New Dorp Lane and it was a wonderful experience for everyone. Members of the Association, family and friends - 34 of us - enjoyed the tasty Greek specialties. Join us in October when we resume our dining program. Visit # 24 was to Nini's at 710 New Dorp Lane  on February 23rd,2000 and it was wonderful.  The last time we were there was in 1995 and this time was just as delicious.  Thanks to all those who participated.  Our visit to Cafe Nouveau on Wednesday, May 12, 1999 was a magnificent success!  There were 31 of us enjoying the good food and great company.  Thank you to the owners of Cafe Nouveau for providing us with an interesting pasta feast and a special thanks to Linda Marotto for pulling this event together. And even as we enjoy this tasty success, we are already looking to our next event in July...so for those of you who will be on Staten Island (or within driving distance) at the end of July, plan on joining us for another dining experience.  Check out next month's newsletter for the place and palate pleaser.
